Main Street in downtown Duvall was pretty empty except for Firefighter Greg Garat who was dressed up in a pink flamingo costume.
Greg was waving at drivers and holding a sign that said FREE SMILES.
He’s seen the effect of the coronavirus first hand and how it spreads not only germs, but it spreads fear.
Greg says he is doing social medicine, and that smiles are more contagious than a virus. And the people in the community who saw the pink flamingo firefighter this weekend appreciated the break in tension.
