Trick-or-Treat on the Ave. - Upper Queen Anne

Each year hundreds of little ghosts and goblins head to upper Queen Anne Ave. for the neighborhood’s annual trick-or-treat festival put on by the Upper Queen Anne Merchants Association. This year, the festivities will kick off at 3 p.m. on the 31st, so you can do your trick-or-treating in the daylight hours!

McGraw Trick-or-Treat - Magnolia

Starting at 4 p.m., costumed kiddos can trick-or-treat at Magnolia Village. This is a great option for little punkins who don't want to walk very far or little ones who are new to the trick-or-treating scene. The best part? You'll be home in time for dinner.

Wallingford Center Trick-or-Treat

Put on your Halloween costume and boogie over to the Wallingford Center for indoor trick-or-treating and plenty of family fun. In addition to enjoying the spooky (but not scary) decorations, snap some pics at the two photo ops and don't forget a non-perishable food donation for the Annual Fall Food Drive benefiting Wallingford Family Works.

Halloween Trick-or-Treat at University Village

Take a stroll through U Village where participating merchants will be passing out candy to costumed kiddos ages 11 & under on Halloween. Once your little monsters are all sugared out, head over to the covered kids play area near Kid’s Club to let them burn off their Halloween high.

Trick-or-Treat in Fremont

Grab your buckets (or your pillowcases!) and head to Fremont for this annual trick-or-treating extravaganza. This year, over 100 Fremont retailers and restaurants will be handing out candy to kids in costume who are accompanied by adults. Halloween Trick-or-Treat - Edmonds

There will be plenty of treats (and maybe a few tricks!) for costumed kiddos, their parents and their pets from participating merchants in downtown Edmonds. Psst! Be sure catch the flash mob in front of the fountain at 6 p.m. and enter the costume contest. There will be categories for kids, adults and pets in several age categories: 0-6, 7-12, 13-17 and 18 & older. Note: The downtown streets of Edmonds will be closed to cars during the event, making this a truly safe evening.

Start at the South Shops by the Food Court and find tricks and treats on the way to the North Shops by the Play Area. Then, enjoy spooky music, fabulous face painting, creepy crafts, fun glitter tattoos and balloon art. Rain or shine, you and your little ghosts and goblins will stay warm and dry trick-or-treating inside Bellevue Square. Select retailers will be readywith candy beginning at 5 p.m. After you fill your treat buckets, be sure to enjoy the live musical performances in Center Court, mad science booth on Level 2 and "Take Your Own Photo” booths and balloon tying throughout the shopping center.

In addition to trick-or-treating, there will costume photo ops in the photo booth, a Springfree trampoline to work off the sugar rush, face painting and Halloween merchant specials.

The costume contest will take place on the stage next to Coldstone Creamery from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Prizes will be announced starting around 6:45 p.m. (must be present to win).

Mark your calendars for the return of Auburn’s annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat event! There will also be face painting by the Auburn High School Key Club; birds of prey from the Southeastern Raptor Center; police vehicles and a fire truck on display from the Auburn Public Safety; and more. Families living in the South Sound can enjoy a safe and entertaining evening along the Trick-or-Treat path in downtown Des Moines. Starting at 3 p.m., little ghosts and goblins are invited to collect treats from local businesses along Marine View Drive and 7th Ave. South. Psst! Be sure to pick up a Stamp Card from one of the volunteers or participating businesses–15 stamps earns $1 off of admission to the Halloween Carnival, a frightfully fun event which will take place at the Des Moines Field House from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. and include a host of skill-challenging games.
