Converse That Change Color In The Sun

Converse is dropping a new line of sneakers with color-shifting designs. The iconic shoe company’s sun-activated “UV Chuck 70” collection is a collaboration with fashion label Chinatown Market and they change color in sunlight.

The shoes start off as off-white canvas, but when exposed to direct sunlight, they transform into a vibrant mismatched color-blocked design. The sneakers have white rubber soles and white lacing, and once they hit the sun, colors including orange, purple, blue and magenta appear.

The Chinatown Market x Converse collection will be available starting at 3:01 a.m. EST on Saturday, July 20th at thechinatownmarket.comThe Converse Chuck 70 Hi top will be $100 and the Chuck 70 Ox sells for $95 and judging by past collections, they’ll sell out fast.
