OK SEATTLE! Let’s do this right!
This Saturday, a peaceful protest will take place in Seattle Washington as we march for justice in the George Floyd case, and any other Black life that has been wrongly taken.
The march is scheduled to begin at noon and will run down 5th Avenue.
In case you missed the news (not sure how you could) Tuesday 46-year-old George Floyd was robbed of his life as 3 cops held him down and another cop kept his knee on Floyd’s neck for over 5 minutes.
The incident happened in Minneapolis which is currently in a state of chaos. Three police Precincts have been trashed and I know for a fact one was set on fire along with a Target, local grocery store and more.
In a 10-minute video posted on social media and captured by a passerby, bystanders can be heard pleading with police to let Floyd up as he struggles to breathe.
"Bro, he's not even moving," a bystander can be heard saying in the video. "Get off his neck!"
The video showed Floyd was unconscious by the time an ambulance arrived to take him to a hospital.
“The police killed him, bro, right in front of everybody,” said the woman who shot the video, Darnella Frazier, according to The Washington Post. “He was crying, telling them like, ‘I can’t breathe,’ and everything. … They killed this man.” -via Kiro 7
