Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak confirmed to NFL Network's Stacey Dales that he's accepted the Las Vegas Raiders' head coaching gig following the Seahawks' 29-13 win against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX.

"While Klint Kubiak is celebrating this special Super Bowl win with the Seahawks, he just confirmed to me on camera that he will be the next head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders," Dales wrote on her X account Sunday (February 8) night.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport had previously reported last Sunday (February 1) that the Raiders were "zeroing in" on hiring Kubiak, but a deal couldn't officially been made until the conclusion of the Seahawks' posteason run.

Kubiak, 38, spent one season with the Seahawks, leading the offense to the third-highest scoring offense (28.4 points per game) in the NFL and the eighth-highest total offense (351.4 yards per game) during the 2025 regular season. The veteran coach had previously worked as an offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints in 2024 and the Minnesota Vikings in 2021, as well as a passing game coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers in 2023 and the Denver Broncos, which also included working as a quarterbacks coach, in 2022.

The Seahawks went 14-3, the best record in the NFC, during the 2025 season, their second under head coach Mike Macdonald. Seattle defeated the NFC Division rival San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams during the playoffs en route to its second Super Bowl victory in franchise history, avenging its Super Bowl XLIX loss to the Patriots, which took place 11 years prior.
