Mustard closes out his epic week with a brand-new song alongside Travis Scott.
The Grammy award-winning hitmaker delivered his latest single "Parking Lot" on Thursday night, June 20. On the track, La Flame reminisces about life before the fame when he would post up in a parking lot with his crew at night. He references his old neighborhood Lake Olympia in Houston where he used to ride around with his "twin," which fans believe might be his former cohort OG Chess.
"Drop me off at Meadow Creek, I took the boat to River Bend/I said it ain't no comin' back, no way I thought I'd lose a twin," he raps.
"Parking Lot" is the first single from Mustard's forthcoming album Faith of a Mustard Seed. He announced the title of his fourth studio LP in a cinematic trailer that debuted earlier this month. The tracklist has not been confirmed yet, but based on the trailer there could be appearances from Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch, Kid Cudi, Megan Thee Stallion, J. Cole, and The Weeknd. Mustard's album is set to drop this summer. It also comes after he stunned his hometown at Kendrick Lamar's "The Pop Out" show on Juneteenth.
Mustard's new song sits at the top of iHeartRadio's Rap Rising playlist. Other new tracks like Ice Spice's "Phat Butt" and Rich The Kid's new collaboration with Ye and Ty Dolla $ign "Gimme A Second 2" are also on the playlist this week.
