OOOPP! Looks like Cardi B won her case against Youtuber Tasha K (Latasha Kebe)! In case you missed it, Cardi B has been going back and forth with a Youtuber by the name of Tasha K for the last 2 to 3 years after Tasha K went on Youtube saying Cardi B was a prostitute, had herpes, and did drugs, which of course Cardi B says is totally false.
The rapper won her libel case against Tasha K, who she sued for posting videos where she alleged, among other things, CB was a prostitute who dabbled in drugs and had contracted STIs.
After a week-plus long trial, Tasha was found liable on 3 separate claims, and Cardi's been awarded at least $1 million. -TMZ
During the trial, Tasha K got caught up in so many lies that according to Lawyer/Youtuber The Lead Attorney at one point the judge literally stopped the trial to make sure Tasha K was lying on the stand. She even threw her own husband under the bus while also admitting to all the nasty things she said about Cardi, according to The Lead Attorney who was at the trial, Tasha K said it's my job to lie for clicks and views. Like ma'am, that is NOT your job.
During the trial, Cardi B took to the stand and said she was at one point suicidal and had to get therapy because of the things Tasha K would say about her.
WELP! We shall see if Tasha K gets to keep her Youtube channel (which has over 1 million subscribers) or if she just has to pay Cardi a hefty fee for all of the lies.
The judge said any potential punitive damages Tasha might owe Cardi will be determined in a future hearing.
