Clown Of The Sound: Washington State News Station Aired Explicit Content

Today's Clown of the Sound goes to CBS affiliate KREM 2 in Spokane who showed footage of a woman's backside behind meteorologist Michelle Boss as she gave the weather report.

The incident brought the attention to the Spokane Police Department special victims unit.

"The incident generated numerous calls from concerned citizens in the city and county. At the time of this release, the investigation is ongoing and no culpability of any kind has been determined," police said in a statement.

A VP at KREM's parent company said the station has apologized for the incident.

"We apologized to our viewers last night during our 11 p.m. newscast - Those of us here at KREM 2 want to apologize for something that happened in our 6 p.m. newscast tonight," said Anne Bentley, the chief communications officer at TEGNA.

The station was ultimately fined $325,000, the highest fine ever at the time for a single indecent broadcast, according to the report.
