LISTEN: Dealing With Anxiety/Depression While In Quarantine

This morning we talked with Strawberry's brother, Chad, who is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

Washington's Stay At Home Order has surpassed 100 days and rates in anxiety and depression are not only spiking but showing up with people who have not struggled with this before.

Chad gave some examples of how to navigate the long, unstructured days and offered some advice that everyone could find useful.

Via Chad's website:

"If you are considering counseling for yourself or a loved one, you are making a great choice! It takes courage to reach out to someone else with your struggles, with things on your mind that you may not even tell your best friend or family. But this is the beauty of counseling. We sit in a safe, accepting and supportive space, and when you are ready, you can talk with a professional therapist who follows a strict code of confidentiality. You always control what is being discussed. And why do all this? Because it can get better- I see it every day. By being here, you are already taking the first step."
