Man Makes Bench For Young Boy With Autism To Watch The American Flag

6 year old Finn Daly who has autism and down syndrome is amazed by a lot of things but he seems to be particularly amazed by the American flags hanging throughout his neighborhood. His parents said that he can spend like hours watching flags just blowing in the wind. One afternoon he was out for a walk with his parents when he became fixated by a flag hanging from a tree in the yard of Todd Disque. When Todd saw 6 year old Finn staring at his flag he couldn’t help but feel like he just had to do something sweet for him..he went to his workshop and made a cute little small wooden bench..he inscribed it with Finn’s name..and then left it out in front of the flag for Finn and his parents to find without even saying a word. As you can imagine..Finn and his parents were overwhelmed with emotion when they found the bench. Finn’s mom said “It’s such a small gesture, but things like this really restore your faith in humanity. Like, there’s still good people out there that want to do kind things for no other reason than just to be kind.”
