Seattle Area Restaurant Burned Down, Starts GoFundMe!

Athens Pizza and Pasta House in Auburn was part of a strip mall that burned down last month. As we know, restaurants have already been struggling during the pandemic.

Earlier this this week Valley Professional Firefighters handed the owners a much needed $1000 check for gift cards.

There has been several fundraisers in the community to help the restraint get back on their feetincluding GMC, the fire authority, and Auburn Valley Barber Shop.

One of the reasons so many people in Auburn love Athens Pizza and Pasta House. For over 40 years, Athens has been giving back to the Auburn community – including donating fifteen hundred dollars to the Firefighters Christmas toy drive, just one day before the restaurant fire.

Investigators say an overloaded electrical circuit caused the fire and it was ruled accidental.
