Seattle Shuts Down Streets For Safe Trick Or Treating!

We’ve been talking with listeners about their Halloween plans and whether they are going to bring their kids Trick Or Treating Saturday.

Remember early in the pandemic, the city designated certain blocks and streets to be closed to vehicle traffic so pedestrians and bicyclists could exercise?

Well, this weekend, Seattle is closing dedicated blocks for COVID safe trick or treating, and families and residents can apply for a street closure for safe trick or treating or even a Halloween parade.

Once you get permission, all you need to do is provide your own barricades to close the street, inform your neighbors, and clean up after the celebration.
