Locally, with new restrictions going into place Monday for gyms and fitness studios limiting capacity, owners of fitness facilities have banned together with a Change.org petition.
They are challenging the new requirement of 17 feet of space between clients calling it “a death sentence for all small fitness businesses.” And saying the requirement is not founded is medical advice or research.
