"Get Well Soon" Banner Appears On Tacoma Bridge Amid Pandemic

We have drone footage of how empty the streets of Tacoma are. And you see the drone fly towards the Murray Morgan Bridge where there is a HUGE technically “slightly illegal” banner that reads “Get Well Soon” that’s hanging over the mid-span.

Local artists Tom Llewellyn and Lance Kagey , said they are “allegedly” involved and have been known for their plastering the city with posters . This isn’t a regular poster though- the GET WELL SOON sign on the Murray Morgan Bridge is a 70 foot long handmade quilt. According to The News Tribune, 13 people were involved, each supplying one bed sheet sized letter that was sews together to create the message. It seems like it was on the bridge all Sunday and part of Monday morning. The alleged artists said the idea was to “engage community, encourage people and remind them that they’re not alone.”

Alone, TOGETHER.
