Seattle Area Mom Dies From COVID-19, Leaves 6 Kids Behind

A family in Everett is making headlines after she contracted COVID-19, and not only lost her battle to the virus..but her kids were forced to say good-bye to her on a walkie talkie due to her isolation. 42 year old Sundee Rutter, who had just beat breast cancer, passed away from coronavirus on March 16. She left behind her six kids, ages 13-24. Her 20 year old son Elijah Ross-Rutter has made it clear he & the other older siblings were going to do everything to take care of their younger siblings. Their father also passed away 8 years ago. Elijah's eldest brother, Tyree Ross-Rutter, intends to take custody of his younger siblings, ages 13, 14 and 15.
