Harlem Globetrotters Teach Russell Wilson and Tyler Lockett A Few Tricks

Russell Wilson learned new skills, Tyler Lockett faced his toughest opponent, and Pete Carroll enlisted help from a world-famous basketball team when the Harlem Globetrotters took over the Seattle Seahawks practice on Thursday afternoon in Renton, WA.

As the Globetrotters prepare for six games in the Seattle area from Nov. 15-18 and the Seahawks prepare for their game on Monday Night Football, Coach Carroll welcomed Big Easy Lofton, Zeus McClurkin, and Swish Sutton to the Seahawks practice facility for a unique mix of competitions, new TD celebrations, and a lot of laughs.

Swish defeated Lockett in a series of shooting competitions, while Wilson tossed footballs at spinning basketball targets. Today marked the second time Pete Carrol welcomed the Globetrotters to the team’s practice facility since 2017.

The Globetrotters games in the Seattle area include:

Friday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Angel of Winds Arena in Everett

Saturday, Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Bellevue High School in Bellevue

Sunday, Nov. 17 at noon and 5 p.m. at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent

Monday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. at Marcus Pavilion at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey
