The Seattle Police Department competed in a competition TV show last night called "Lip Sync to the Rescue” and actually came is runner up and won $50,000 for their lip sync to Macklemore/Ryan Lewis song DOWNTOWN.
The video is an epic 5 minute trip through Seattle and features cameo appearances Reggie Fils-Aime, Lenny Wilkins, Felix Hernandez, Walter Jones, Germain Ifedi, Harry The Husky, Blitz, and Moose.
According to KIRO 7; "A Seattle department spokesman said officers were given permission to appear in the video, and that they were not paid for their involvement."
