Find This Seattle Soldiers Family

Rachel Galberth just moved into a new Seattle apartment.

An old storage trunk is one of her first pieces of furniture.

Inside, hundreds of love letters, and intimate conversations between a husband and wife for a span two decades.

This army trunk was saved 3 years ago from a home in the Central District that was under foreclosure. And that’s why she wants the public’s help finding the family these belong to.

All we know is that the man is a soldier, served in the army, Fred Gray, his wife, is Lillie Mae Gray.

The letters are dated between the 50’s and 60’s and they were sent and received from around the country. There are also black and white photos and negatives in the trunk.
