7Eleven Owner Gives Shop Lifting Teen Food, Instead Of Calling Cops

Jenna's What's Good!?

Recently A 7-Eleven owner who caught a teen stealing snacks didn’t call the cops on him, but instead sent him home with even more food. An employee spotted the teen pocketing snacks and alerted Jitendra Singh, the owner of the convenience store, and when Jitendra confronted the shoplifter, the kid admitted he took food, but only because he and his younger brother were hungry and had nothing to eat.

Cedric Bishop, a regular customer at the store, says he was stunned as he watched what happened. He later shared the story in a Facebook post, praising the owner’s kindness. He says Singh told the teen, “This is not food. You want food, I’ll give you food.” And then he told him to go get pizzas, chicken, sandwiches, fruit, and meals from the shelves so he could take bags of real food home - all free of charge.

“I thought that was an amazing thing the owner did,” Bishop says. “Some young people just need to know that someone cares.” See Facebook Post HERE
