Last week, a French nun known as Sister Andre, who was believed to be the oldest person alive, died at the age of 118. The title, according to Guinness World Records, now belongs to a 115-year-old woman in Spain. María Branyas Morera of Catalonia, Spain, was verified last Thursday as being 115 years and 321 days old. She was born on March 4th, 1907, in San Francisco and moved to Spain with her family when she was eight. According to Guinness World Records, Maria has lived in a nursing home for 22 years and is in good health. She attributes her longevity to "order, tranquility, good connection with family and friends, contact with nature, emotional stability, no worries, no regrets, lots of positivity, and staying away from toxic people."
