Although still under investigation, the city of Nashville is waking up this morning to, yet again, hear of another police involved shooting.
Officer Andrew Delke, also 25, is the officer involved and has reportedly been placed on "routine administrative leave," according to police spokesman Don Aaron.
According to The Tennessean, there was a media briefing last night, where TBI spokesman, Josh DeVine, reported that the victim, Hambrick, "emerged from the vehicle with a firearm in his hand," and that everything just escalated from there, which as we can see, resulted in Officer Delke firing his weapon multiple times, killing Hambrick.
It's unclear whether the gun was pointed at the officer or not, or if Hambrick had ever even been ordered out of his vehicle in the first place. No info has been released from authorities about how many times he had been shot, or where he was shot.
And here's the kicker, there's no body cam or dash cam footage..at least that's what police spokesman Don Aaron is reporting. Hm..
It's also being reported that the officer was searching for stolen vehicles, and the TBI is currently trying to figure out exactly what transpired before the shooting.
