Remember a while ago some TMZ paps caught some pics of Charlamagne tha God & Kanye leaving a building and getting into his car together and we all just kind of assumed Ye was previewing some new music for Charlamagne, which he may have, but it was actually a super deep interview which JUST got released earlier today.
It gets deep, quick. In just the first few minutes Kanye talks about his huge breakdown that led to his hospitalization in November 2016 and reveals that Taylor Swift was one of the HUGE factors which led to his meltdown.
Remember, Kanye's lyrics in his song "Famous" about Taylor talking about he made that b*tch famous seemed to rub Taylor the wrong way and she made a huge deal about it. Low & behold, Kim Kardashian had a secret video of Kanye & Taylor on the phone where he recited the lyrics to her before the song dropped, proving that Taylor KNEW what he was going to say about her before everyone else would hear it and she seemed cool with it.
But that really messed with Kanye and his relationship with radio. He admitted that he really wanted major radio love as one of the biggest artists in the world, and the fact that he wasn't getting it after "Life of Pablo" really screwed with his head.
He also addresses his $20 million "favor" from HOV. It was that Live Nation money, not a hand out.
