Last month, Jeffrey Laney, also known as Lil J, out of St. Louis made a plea to stop the gun violence in his city and the video has since gone viral. While it has reached and caught the attention of many, it's caught the attention of one man in particular..who has voluntarily stepped up to do something positive for little 6 year old Jeffrey.
Rapper Pusha T has started a college fund for this young man!
T penned an open letter to Lil J, writing, “A lot of people can’t imagine how hard it is being a kid where you are from, If I were you, I would be scared too. But I thought it was very brave of you to speak up and try to help your family, friends, and community. There a lot of 6yr olds all over the United States who are scared just like you and guess who their Super Hero is…YOU!!”
So sweet! In addition to starting a college fund, Pusha T also set up and paid for the perfect summer vacation a 6 year old could want..a trip to Six Flags, a summer camp session with the Boys & Girls club AND and exclusive screening of "Spiderman: Homecoming"
