Do you think they should use this video in his upcoming case?

Prosecutors in the upcoming trial of Derek Chauvin, a former Minneapolis police officer charged in the death of GeorgeFloyd, have asked permission to submit a 2017 video that shows the ex-Minneapolis police officer kneeling on a 14-year-old boy's neck as the teen pleads that he can't breathe.

"As was true with the conduct with George Floyd, Chauvin rapidly escalated his use of force for a relatively minor offense," Assistant Attorney General Matthew Frank wrote in the request.

"Just like with Floyd, Chauvin used an unreasonable amount of force without regard for the need for that level of force or the victim's well-being."

Chauvin's attorney, Eric Nelson, has objected to the video's submission, saying Chauvin was following department policy and the incident has no bearing on Floyd's death.
