Machine Gun Kelly Drummer Hospitalized After Getting Robbed And Assaulted

Machine Gun Kelly's drummer JP Cappelletty (better known as Rook) has been hospitalized following a robbery and assault, TMZ reports. According to the outlet, law enforcement sources say Rook "was walking down a street in the Hollywood Hills Tuesday night around 8 PM, when 2 guys jumped out of a vehicle to rob him." There was a physical altercation, and the men stole thousands of dollars worth of goods from the drummer. To make matter worse, he was also hit by a car, which injured his arm and foot.

TMZ's sources say the culprits got away. It's unclear if they were armed, but they certainly used force during the robbery.

Thankfully, Rook took to Instagram stories to assure fans he's going to "bounce back," while showing off his right arm and hand in a cast. He also shared a photo of MGK visiting him at the hospital. The two have been close for almost a decade now. Rook joined MGK's band in 2012, when he was a senior in high school.

MGK and his band made their Saturday Night Live debut at the end of January, where they played "My Ex's Best Friend" and "Lonely" off the rapper-turned-rocker's chart-topping pop punk album Tickets to My Downfall. We wish Rook a speedy recovery!
