50 Cent Producing Docuseries About Tekashi 6ix9ine — Get All The Details

A docuseries about Tekashi 6ix9ine is on the way and 50 Cent is set to be the show's producer.

After weeks of speculation, production sources told TMZ the rapper turned business mogul is working on a scripted series that will not only focus on Tekashi, but also a wide range of celebs, including "Snoop Dogg, music producer Scott Storch, former NBA stud Rafer Alston and 50 himself."

The docuseries, which is titled "A Moment in Time," will reportedly have six to eight hour-long episodes dedicated to each subject and will be produced by 50's G-Unit Film & Television company.

According to the insider, 50 is "framing Tekashi's story around his brief but controversial rap career."

Fans have been speculating for weeks that the Power executive was working on some kind of documentary or film about the "FEFE" rapper, who he was at one-time friends with. Earlier this month, 50 appeared to hint that he was up to something after a fan straight up asked if a Tekashi 6ix9ine movie was on the way. “I’m working boy,” 50 teased.

6ix9ine's legal battles have taken over headlines in 2019. And ever since the 23-year-old rapper signed on to become a government witness, testifying against his former crew, the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods, you could say it was the climax of a very interesting and controversial come-up story.

As fans know, when Tekashi took the stand in a Manhattan federal court last month, he not only named names — he alleged that Jim Jones, Cardi B, Trippie Redd, and many more artists are all gang affiliated — he also revealed his role in the gang, admitting that he made money for Nine Trey that was distributed among Nine Trey members in order to have their protection and garner street cred. All of which, led to him being exiled by many members of the rap community as they deemed him a "snitch."
